Scary reports from the economic trenches: Holidays aint happening this year.

Not complaining*, but judging from whats happening here at the store and talking to other peeps that own other stores of various kinds, the retail reports for christmas sales are going to be a sucker punch in the economic face. Anybody else hearing/experiencing this?

* well duh i am complaining a little, but we are doing enough other not christmas related business that we are doing fine, its just shockingly weird out there this year, which i was not expecting. either its a super last minute thing or things are very very different in 2011. prob worst season in 10 years so far.
