With the death of Ken Russell, I realised that, although I actually know the difference, it takes me ages to work out which one people mean when they talk about Ann-Margaret and Ann Magnuson. Oops.

I was just reading an article on Bush, which said that their first album came out in 1994, and I was like, wait a minute, aren't they an older band than that? Then I realized I've mixed them up with Rush in my head.

The same thing used to happen to me with Wheatus and Weezer. It didn't help that they were both punky one-hit-wonder rock bands of the 90s.

I used to get Bush mixed up with Reef.

I just checked their respective his catalogue and it looks like I still do. (could have sworn it was Bush who had a hit with "It's your letters")
