i have to tell u:

during the exam a question came up relating to diversity jurisdiction which you learn about in civil procedure I first year, and i had a sudden attack of nostalgia for that class and the professor because i loved it so much (most people dread that class and the prof was very hard). he was a very animated 55-y.o. kansas farmboy. i then thought to myself "oh, i can post this on theresa's thread!"

my cousin was cleaning out her dad's house and found a letter i sent her 10 years ago and scanned it and sent it to me

nostalgic high for school pianist me

i know it's super cheesy but listening to this makes me tear up!

i ran through the park and some osage oranges littered the ground. it made me quite nostalgic.

I didn't know those grew here! I haven't seen any since I moved from Indiana, 20 years ago.

christmas lights!

reminds me of when i was a kid and we would go to hollywild animal park, where animals of the silver screen reside after their careers end. you got to drive through the park, all decorated in lights and lights built into animal shapes and stuff, and see lots of animals, too! they even had the reindeer who played prancer in the movie prancer, which was a childhood favorite. one time a bison came right up to our window while we were stopped and scared my little sister and we all had a nice laugh :)
