it was ok. i know i botched a couple things and forgot some stuff in my haste but everyone did. i wrote something for every question. the only big failures were a contracts question i got frazzled on and answered in a really bizarre order and part of an evidence question that had a rule i could never understand (but it had 6 parts that i answered most of). secured transactions question was identical to one i did in practice. no con law questions. ok not gonna think about it anymore!

anyway i think i'm gonna pass. multiple choice all day tomorrow, which is hard, but more studying won't help. i don't know what to do with myself!

i keep thinking of what other stuff i did wrong. it's so hard not to ugh

i think you should go out to a movie. good distraction.

there doesn't seem to be anything i want to see. maybe i'll start a new book. had to bring both of my books back before they were done :(

yeah i can play with the cat but she sleeps from 8 am to 9 pm mostly. now i am watching her sleep half on her back with her legs spread open and in the air. yesterday when i was laying on my back reading flashcards out loud she would jump up on the bed with a chirp and lay down on my stomach. lol cats.

one thing i was amazed at was the number of people who didn't come back for the afternoon session! there were a number of empty seats. that must feel bad.

maybe your fruit flies will be up for a game.

a good thing to consider about all those empty seats this afternoon is that those who complete the exam must have a much higher pass rate than the statistics indicate.

yeah, the scores are also adjusted so anyone that shows up and gets only a few points is bringing down the mean score, which is good (for me)

you guys shoulda seen how many people in the room though! it's in a convention center "expo hall" so if you imagine an "expo" of your choice, it's the room without the boat 'n' rv show exhibits and just rows and rows of tables w/ 2 people at each. about 2/3 of the room is for laptop people, the rest for handwriters. it must have looked so strange to a normal person, or maybe if an alien came and this is the first thing it saw.

they have those downstairs below my work and it's always CPA tests. one time there were a bunch of girls out front waiting for the test to get over, holding signs to congratulate their boyfriends. my favorite sign said THE SUMMER OF OUR LIVES STARTS NOW

it was actually very productive. i stopped at a farm store on the way back, got home way earlier than i expected, and will get $80 in mileage moneys

sorry for the silence, i have been doomscrolling and worrying and forgetting to visit the sandbox

i'm not sure i will do anything. the prospect of moving anywhere seems like a lot, including finding a new job. finding one in your own country is hard enough. i didn't get the passport yet but maybe i will do the application this weekend.

my dad has always said gaelic, i had presumed that's because his parents did but i'm not sure. he and my mom went last spring and visited a bunch of his cousins and their cows, and also the guy who lives in his mother's old house (who is not related to us, lol), and since then has been sending me instagram videos of like how to count to 10, etc. i'm old enough to know i will probably not learn it, i'm not feeling motivated or disciplined enough to do anything lately!
