oh man i made some sweeeet moroccan stew a while ago:

3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 3/4 pounds beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes [I USED GROUND BUFFALO]
1 large onion, chopped
1 large carrot, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tablespoon paprika
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup halved pitted Kalamata olives
1/2 cup golden raisins [STORE DIDN'T HAVE 'EM WTF]
1 15-ounce can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon lemon peel
