Sherlock didn't sound as fitting as Matlock.

i got pretty into this show for awhile.

it's very interesting.

if you look at it as this thing that was constructed as a way for senior citizens to make sense of the changing world around them, with an amiable though crusty guide to show them the way, it all makes sense.

my biggest complaint is that matlock gets WAAAYYY to wide a berth from the judges! he would be disbarred in reality! jesus, one time he made omelets with poisoned eggs in the courtroom...then he tried to make the guy on the stand eat them, when he refused, matlock took it as proof that he had poisoned the eggs! he was found guilty!

the other time he brought a horse into the courtroom, i can't remember why.

another case ended with matlock proving that someone committed murder by showing that a button had fallen off a blazer.

I remember an episode of Julia Childs where she made omelots.

I didn't think that worked.

I don't do that because for as long as I can see it on the New Answers in bold, I know that no one has answered it yet. When it finally fades to plain type, then I can click on it to see what responses my inquiry has garnered.

Is an omelot made with ocelots?

there's an episode where another attorney lets an innocent man go to jail because the attorney has a grudge against him. matlock just stands there.

funny I was talking abt A Face In The Crowd 5 minutes ago.

what a great movie, seeing the Sherriff Andy of Mayberry play hillbilly hustler Lonesome Rhodes is like seeing the dad from My Three Sons play a con man in Double Indemnity like untold depths, y'know?

Matlock I wasn't wild about but it beat the shit out of that goofy show where Jack "Oscar" Krugman played a medical examiner.

something about Andy Griffith's animal magnetism brings out their rowdy side

If it was a Gif, you could see'em wriggling (?) in their places. Also, Bros fans are nothing compared to these Matlockettes: they are willing to tear off their opponents whigs to get to Matlock.

you should see Diagnosis: Murder fans

It would be eerily deja vu for me most probably. The things I'd do for Grissom (replace this name for MAtlock if you go back 20 yrs).
