Meals from the market

Living in NYC, it's very tempting to order out for food like all the time. It's also very expensive. Any suggestions for *really* fast and satisfying meals u can throw together from the supermarket? I'm talking like frozen meal fast but not necessarily frozen (though I'm certainly not averse to it).

I just discovered these Campbell's open-heat-and-eat soup bowl things, which are handy...

Also fast: Fried bologna sandwiches and fried corned beef hash.

Put some crisco in a frying pan and sizzle up the corned beef 'til it's brown! No more than 5 min, and about $0.50/meal.

You probably cain't get C-loaf in NYC.

Corned beef hash is corned beef in a can, with a few extras to make it extra yummy. You gotta fry it, though, and it's not gonna stay on a sammitch very well. Just eat it with a fork.

for some reason the ads for this really gross me out. the only soup i can drink is miso or plain broth. otherwise, spoons all the way.

(healthy) really fast, easy market food things:
- lunchmeat, pre-sliced cheese (or if you have a knife, not sliced, obv), imitation crab, smoked oysters, hummus, tzatziki, etc
- bread/pita/rice cakes/crackers
- nuts, dried fruit
- pre-cut carrots and other vegetables, like snap peas
- fruit
- some kind of milk
- some kind of yogurt
