Currently target of tabloid opprobrium due to being excessively unpleasant to The People's Spice. So poor show. I'll forgive him for the golden child, though. But it's a close run thing Eddie. You're onlyone more boomerang away from TOO MUCH BOOMERANG.

omg, watch eddie as mr.wong the chinese character in norbit:

he is truly jerry lewis now.

What's so weird about Cosby? He makes total sense to me.

The show dogs and the sweaters.

The Many Faces of Gordon Jump (Leon), Saturday, 17 February 2007 03:28 (nineteen years ago)

the scary attempted rape and harassment of multiple women. the excessive cheapness. the fact that he travels with a full-time mindreader/psychic.

makes eddie's long-time closeted love for transvestites look downright adorable.

scott seward (121212), Saturday, 17 February 2007 05:29 (nineteen years ago)

now i feel bad for saying that about bill cosby. i was drunk. thing is, i still like bill cosby! even after all the court testimony. he was such a big part of my childhood. there was that caretaker woman in philly though. that was sad. i don't know what happens to people...

scott seward (121212), Saturday, 17 February 2007 14:51 (nineteen years ago)

i recently watched a half hour bet interview w/eddie and at the end they showed him getting his finally make up touch ups right before the interview and he was just casually chatting w/the crew and he was really funny and seemed pretty normal and thoughtful.

jhoshea (jhoshea), Saturday, 17 February 2007 14:55 (nineteen years ago)

you missed the eddie murphy thread on real ILX

this is cutty (mcutt), Saturday, 17 February 2007 15:07 (nineteen years ago)

I watched Eddie Murphy's Delirious (just out on DVD) and was pretty disappointed that all they said in the recently shot bonus interview about the awful AIDS/"faggots" opener was that it was "controversial" and that he was "talking about things people weren't ready to talk about yet." Christ, would it kill him to throw in a "I was young and stupid" mea culpa in there?

m1cc1o (m1cc1o), Saturday, 17 February 2007 15:11 (nineteen years ago)

It was kinda neat how after his "don't look at my ass, faggots, and don't kiss my girlfriend you'll give her aids" stuff he went on to reveal a rather severe anal fixation throughout the show.

the whole picking up trannie prostitutes thing sheds a new light on it too

jhoshea (jhoshea), Saturday, 17 February 2007 15:23 (nineteen years ago)

search TKITH's Buddy Cole on Eddie and Dice Clay -- "look like ruff trade to me."

he is truly jerry lewis now.

Is this sposed to be a dis? Get back to me when EM becomes an innovative director.

I hada dream the other night that a young he and younger Harrison Ford went back in tim to do cocaine with the woman from Temple of Doom whose name I can never remember. Also, it was on a high tech submarine that her father had built all himself, or at least wired himself.
Big party, lots of hookers.

spielberg's wife?

This is what I thought about when I first read about "Norbit":

cynical and vile (Factory Sample Not For Sale), Sunday, 18 February 2007 07:16 (nineteen years ago)

Mickey Rooney.

cynical and vile (Factory Sample Not For Sale), Sunday, 18 February 2007 07:16 (nineteen years ago)

Who else could release "Norbit" on an unsuspecting public AND be nominated for an Academy Award?
I'm asking a question.
it's such a conundrum. I don't think Jerry Lewis did both in one year (horrible, tasteless comedy plus oscar nomination).
Also, his ex-wife is gorgeous. And is not a trannie. vaginal births, etc.

aimurchie (aimurchie), Sunday, 18 February 2007 11:03 (nineteen years ago)

Roberto Benigni?

Excellent! you're right! Thank you! ( i am now shutting down my memory of that film, thanks.)

aimurchie (aimurchie), Sunday, 18 February 2007 11:46 (nineteen years ago)

Has Eddie ever gone into detail about the transsexual prostitute incident other than his initial 'Good Samaritan' excuse?

Affectian (Affectian), Sunday, 18 February 2007 15:20 (nineteen years ago)

I thought "Daddy Day Care" was a really good film.

wtf!? ha, does he/she give Cosby telekinetic massages (w/"full psychic release")?
