Kings X to Waterloo = the Northern Line which is always shit as a tube line anyway. But it shouldn't be too bad, and it gets better slightly after rush hour so by 6 it might be doable.

Stence, Kentish Town is central enough for standard going-out needs, don't listen to these south london mentals. Also it's a really nice area, I think (mind you i have lived round there all my life).

kings x and waterloo are on diff nline branches, yes: quickest option by tube is probably piccadilly line to leicester square, then northern line to waterloo. but it'll be pretty packed at 6ish, still.

Proper SE London is Elephant & Castle and beyond. Waterloo is still Central London, it just happens to be south of the river. Might as well claim Soho is North London.

We have had organised FAPs in both New Cross and Lewisham before. As a Blackheath man I approve of these in moderation but you don't tend to get a great turnout.
