Now that I've "completed"* Twilight Princess I'm not sure what I'll do. It has been such a satisfying, beautiful, fun game.

*"completed" only applies to primary story arc, there are still a shit ton of sidequesty type things I can and will do

Work's shiny cleany scratch repair thingy made my Lego Star Wars disk shiny and clean and scratched :(

I'll try loading it again when I get home but I'm not hopeful.

neet:

Anticipated to ship in Spring 2007, Line Rider for the Nintendo DS™ and Nintendo Wii from inXile entertainment will retain all the fun and thrills of the addictive Web version, but will also include new added features.

I hope this slovenian kid got himself some ironclad licensing deals, otherwise he's gonna get screwed out of a potential lifetime financial source, Tetris-style

Wii was absolutely MADE for linerider

how so? i wouldv'e thought the DS was more applicable.

Ste (fuzzy), Thursday, 21 December 2006 09:25 (seventeen years ago) link

Wii makes it more physical with big screen maybe? I dunno. Has anyone played the Family Guy game it's going cheap and I'm sorely tempted!

kv_nol (kv_nol), Thursday, 21 December 2006 09:30 (seventeen years ago) link

all the reviews say the game is shit, thus the cheap pricing so soon

a.b. (abanana), Thursday, 21 December 2006 16:54 (seventeen years ago) link

What, episode 1? I thought it was a fair length for $9 or so. bit much on trying to wring as many good-or-bad gags out of every interaction, but overall i liked it, and thought it much better than the Bone game.

I just got one less reason to buy a PS3.

-- a.b.

What, episode 1?

no, episode 2 (i got it on gametap). it feels like a few puzzles that got left out of the first one.

a.b. (abanana), Friday, 22 December 2006 21:30 (seventeen years ago) link

okay, the DS lite worked well in the airplane, but the Mission mode of Clubhouse Games is fookin' impossible

Just finished Zelda: Twilight Princess on Gamecube. Took about about 40 hours, but like Nicka I've just done the main story. I'll do the rest eventually but I have a whole pile of new DS games to go through.

i'm trying to think of the last japanese rpg that had a compelling narrative. I'm thinking Chrono Trigger, but Xenogears had its charm for all its WTFness.

Man I am so close to being able to beat Guitar Hero 2 on Expert but the last three songs are fucking annoying. I know I can beat each of them but there are just these little passages I can't QUITE get through. :/

got the family to play Ticket to Ride: Marklin last night. Finally got Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne today, so they're next on the list of family compulsion.

Totally scored Contact, Rocket Slime and Lego SW II. Thumbs up, japanophile twin-sisters-in-law. Though it may be that Pops-in-law actually made out even better by acquiring Medieval Total War in the bargain.

Contact appears to have possess an extremely poor save system. You can only save by going to your bed on the mothership but there's no teleport-home function. WTF, this is for a PORTABLE, Atlus.

kingfish the answer to the question you posted to the wrong thread is that I have not gotten any of the FF DS ports but FF5 or whatever came out for the GBA two years ago was pretty fun!

I tried to play Elite Beat Agents in Target the other day, I am so old and lame all I could figure out how to do was spin the globe around. As soon as I stopped trying some 12-ish year old kid jumped on it and it started making cool noises that sounded fun, it made me feel old. So then I went and bought some beer and felt slightly better about my life.
