WHY IS NO ONE HERE TALKING ABOUT HOW AWESOME THE TAR HEELS ARE?

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN B'BALL: THE TAR HEELS.

In other words, fuck an NBA.

Over/under how many times AI passes to an open Melo per game: 2.5

the best part abt this trade will be the silencing the haters part.

Amen.

ive been mulling over the ai trade for a little while now and have come to this conclusion: if the suns and the nuggets meet in the playoffs, it will be the greatest series in the history of the nba.

:-/ @ easy joeks. I sincerely believe Melo/AI will click and win that division. Jazz are due for a fall.

Eff an Tar Heels: HOW 'BOUT THEM BADGERS! Ranked #4, highest in school history, beating Pitt on nat'l TV, Alando Tucker with his awesome dancing, Brian Butch playing like a non-nincompoop...good times in Madtown these days.

But yeah my son's favorite team = still Tar Heels, so yes they are still pretty good too whatever.

AI / Melo might do well, but if Camby gets hurt they are DUNN))). And where's the midrange there, unless Nene steps it up HAHAHAHA OUCH.

im psyched to finally see iverson on a running team after being saddled with eric snow, mutumbo and the one-legged chris webber etc his whole career. i mean this is the strongest aspect of his game - why they want to punish him so bad in philly?

jhoshea (jhoshea), Wednesday, 20 December 2006 21:20 (seventeen years ago) link

and the west just gets stronger, huh?

DO NOT COUNT NENE OUT

i was watching nugs v c's the other nite w/broz he came in and everyone was all lol so fat 60m wtf were they thinking then he makes ridiculous power move gets couple rebounds blocks a shot and just looks all around like a psycho killer all while being clearly rusty and out of shape (think it was his second game back). we were all hmm maybe not such a bad signing.

but yeah yr right - the inevitable camby injury is just hanging there over their heads like a sword.

john hollinger wisely points out the andre miller will likely be going to detroit, cleveland or miami - all of whom could really use him.

two months pass...
Dang, skipped over all of All-Star weekend. Recap:
-dunk ain't dead (Dwight Howard was robbed)
-Charles Barkley racing Dick Bavetta was great
-Gil Arenas fan club goes bananas with trampoline dunk

In other news, apparently Jason Kidd might be going to the Lakers, which means he'd average about 4 points and 20 assists a game. And also there's no point in Dallas playing the rest of the regular season since they've pretty much got #1 locked up.

Nash is somewhat culture savvy. His favorite band is Radiohead, which is pretty unusual for an athlete.
