i don't know how tall i am - i had my height and weight measured at the doc's a couple weeks before i came out here but i was so busy looking at the scales i didn't see my height (and that's the first time i've been measured since i was about 12). but i'm taller than estela.

i have a thin ring of olive green around my pupil, surrounded by brown, which is what gives the effect of a swamp-mud colour overall. hazel on my passport.

yeah mine are goldish/light brown in the center, then green for the most part, with a navy ring around the outside. so. i dunno.

I have an eye condition that causes little bits of brown pigment to flake off the back of my iris and float around aimlessly in my tear ducts. it's not visible to the naked eye, so it's not like you can look deep into my eyes and catch a glimpse of my frontal cortex or anything ridic like that. said condition is the cause of a stupid stupid stupid $90 dispute with my insurance company that I've been trying to resolve for the past 9 months, gawd.

lxy ran for the pencil, then led jaq to the measuring door.

kyle wondered aloud with confusion in his voice, "WHAT is going ON?!"

"it's research," lxy replied, raising her pencil. so intent was she on the business of measuring jaq's height that no further explanation was provided to the puzzled group now assembled around them. having advised jaq on the no backcomb policy, lxy solemnly made the mark to record jaq's place on the scale.

task complete, lxy promised that the results would be photographed and posted to the research site.

those results are herein being made available to study participants and interested parties. comments and observations are welcomed, nay, encouraged.

What fun! I also referred to the measurement process as "the procedure", which added to the general confusion. Mr. Jaq queried me later in the car: "was that just a girl thing?" I assured him most definitely it was not and since he didn't play in the sandbox, he really didn't need to know any more about it. And should just count himself among the lucky few to have witnessed the procedure.

I can never tell because to me most people seem tiny (and 5'10" men like my dad get all huffy when I call them short), but I think Keith is nearer the tza line than the jergins one. I am probably right at the very top or over it.

I like that both tza and I listed that I am the taller, when it has been PROVED BY SCIENCE that I'm not!

ohhh, I keep forgetting that "what don't you look like" actually means "what don't you look like". but based on your contributions to this thread, I've concluded that (1)you are not mummified, (2)you are not tinier than a postage stamp, (3) your skin is not made of porcelain, and (4) you do not have a kittycat (however adorable) permanently affixed to your face. really, this is a lot to take in at once.

<3 i remember jergins was a little bit queasy about us placing our dainty socks directly onto the grimy circular quay pavement.

but our determination to see the project through helped us overcome any reticence, didn't it. it was not the hardest thing by far that i had to do that day. remember how i cried and jergins said, 'there now, stop crying' and you said, 'no, i like it' which made me laugh a little bit through my tears, which i am expert at, by the way.

i am all for crying but that is because i cry easily, i think people who don't cry often take it a lot more seriously than i do, they think it's a sign of drastic sorrow whereas i view it as a hobby.

to be truthful i am a sorry dunce at pilates, also yesterday i sent a text to the instructor (who i love) saying i couldn't attend because i was 'suffering from unspecified gender-related discomfort'.

i want to visit in the fall maybe. i am going to start doing yoga again so that when i come i will be at my tallest and i will blow all of you away.
