i woke up thinking about the fact that this board has like 10 drinks threads, and 0 food threads. which already makes it a better board than all other boards that can eat a dick.

although technically speaking this could be considered a food thread since the title contains the word eat

and in case you were wondering, the need for a butter thread does not contradict

why because a butter thread would be way more drug thread than food thread and possibly also more art thread

speaking of which, why don't we have a champagne thread??

i will start one the next time i drink champagne (tomorrow).

Will take more time to get ILX sorted as there's quite a lot of other stuff to do, plus I can convert and sort the sandbox in about 30 minutes... ILX takes many, many hours. Should be OK in a few days' time though.

Oh good, that's cool. It only works once the thread has been read for the first time, but that shouldn't be a problem once people start using the thing and I stop restarting it.

i've just discovered there are no threads on the sandbox about jealousy or envy, at least no threads that include those words (and their counterpart words "jealous" and "envious") in the title -- this compared with 56 threads on the big X containing those words -- and i certainly don't want to be the one to send us down that road

BUT

i want you to know that i will have the high privilege of seeing our own lovely jaq this week, and i understand that you might have some feelings about it.

I am the luckiest b/c I get to see BOTH lxy and jergins! And have mexican food!

harbl, if I am going to be in Wash DC, is it difficult to get to the Baltimore area on trains/buses? I would visit you and a friend in Ellicott City if possible w/o car renting.

Jaq i think you can take the marc train or Amtrak pretty easily, or a bolt bus type thing? I shouldn't speak tho bc i don't think I've been to Baltimore since i moved here almost three (ugh i can't believe it's that long) years ago...

marc is only available on weekdays and relatively cheap. if it's a weekend amtrak is the only train service available and it's kind of expensive. not sure if there's bus to baltimore from greenbelt metro station, which is where i've parked when i've gone into dc (very rarely!). i know nothing about ellicott city.

Awesome - it will be an adventure! Dulles is way away from everything, it looks like.
