it was an empty storefront pretending to be something. it had outdated computer stuff in the window and you could see a couple computers inside but it was never open and never had people inside.

i took the train through baltimore. i slept through philly twice, but was awake both times in baltimore.

there are lots of burnt out buildings. and boarded-up ones.

ya those tracks go through a deserted area for the most part. i used to ride to dc and back every day and always slept cuz there's nothing to look at. there is a school just outside the tunnel before penn station where kids would sometimes wait to throw rocks at the train

i think it's luck of the draw. the same itinerary is still available but for $10 (still not bad! it's like $25 to dc, which is silly since it's like an extra 45 min on the bus)

my first friend in law school was a small lesbian and a few times she asked me to go places to study with her and then would not show up because one or another of her girlfriends had some kind of problem or was sick or whatever. then i just started not hanging out with her and i think she thought *i* was the one being a flake. also she bothered me because her parents paid for everything, like her mini cooper and tuition, and she owned the house she lived in. i think she was paying for it partially by renting out a room but she decided she didn't want a roommate anymore so her parents offered to buy her out of it just because. my other friends liked her but she was annoying. she acted like she was a comedian. maybe i am a homophobe but i can never be friends with lesbians, it seems. or small people. we never get along!

i was friends with a small would-be lesbian who had a painting on her wall that was just pink and purple and red swirls with MENSTRUATION painted across the top in black letters, it was depressing, she is long gone also.

i'm really afraid of taking pictures of people. i once took photography class and was taking pictures of buildings (easy) and had hueg lens so i couldn't even see people close to me buy a guy got in my face thinking i had photographed him. creepy. understandable because i hate pictures being taken of me too. i'm really bad at pictures anyway though.
