Other claims to fame on that webpage: home to Britain's first tower block and first pedestrian shopping precinct! home to J4de G0ody and scene of her alleged shoplifting incident! Beckingham Palace nestles on the edge of town! "Most of the town's buildings, built at a time when concrete was widely used in construction, now suffer from conditions relating to this, both practical and aesthetic"! I expect an influx of tourists very soon.

Tape Store's school had it easy insulting its rival, I take it
Yeah, but it's not like we're much better (see below). God, I hate high school.

Here's some notable vandalism:
According to several students, there is slight prejudice within the foreign language department. On several occasions, a Spanish teacher was heard to say nasty comments about the Japanese Two students without any proof of any wrong doings on the part of the Japanese students. Sadly, this injustice has been ignored by school officials.

Rock Bridge houses many school clubs, the most notorious being 'Kawaii Club.' They are known to wear anime costumes and watch strange Japanese television shows. Another well-known club is the Harry Potter club, commonly known as Portkey Club or "The Portkey."

Bruce Wilson is one of the best Old West Teachers at Rock Bridge, Wait I forgot he is the only Old West Teacher AT Rock Bridge, So he is also the worst.

Its crosstown rival is Hickman High School. They usually suffer losses to Hickman because of its dominance in every sport Most students have one Alternating Unassigned Time, referred to as AUT, during which students are allowed to go the library and computer labs, seek help from teachers, or, with parental permission, leave campus and be gay.

Nick Peters is transferring here boi.

Just recently, a new administration that has been installed in Rock Bridge that features a new principle, Dr. Andy Kohl, has created a more stern and strict atmosphere at the school. This has provoked rumors of the dismissal of the traditional AUT program, block scheduling, and tighter policies on students in the hallway. Most of the students and teachers at Rock Bridge are against this and have voiced their oppinions about the way Kohl has run the school. Many say that he was not ready to lead the second largest high school in the state of Missouri.

The new school boasted an innovative approach to education with open spaces and flexible walls. The architectural plan, which received national attention for school design is a metaphor for the philosophy of the school. The hallways speak at once of responsibility and freedom. Numerous skylights suggest a curriculum without a “ceiling,” while masonry floors provide a solid foundation upon which students can build their futures.

Rock Bridge Highschool is named after a rock bridge.....No one really knows why they named a highschool after a rock, bridge, but no one cares either because their gay. In the past only gay people have gone to Rock Bridge, but with this years incoming sophmores, they hope to change that. Despite being rich, selfish scallywags, Rock Bridge ulumni try their best to succeed in life like their cross town rivals, but have yet to succeed. It has been recorded that even Douglass Highschool has a higher percentage of scholarships offered than the Rock Bridge Highschool students. This may be because of the amazing athletic ability of the Douglass basketball players (negroes), but thats no excuse.

Not really vandalism, but it's still pretty funny:
Rock Bridge is one of the most acidemically advanced high schools in the state of Missouri.

OMG! You lived in Columbia? Crazy...Yeah, I went to Jeff Jr. I heard that when the Jeff Jr. P.E. class walked to the Hickman track, they got in a fight with some lady in the neighborhood. She called the police because someone kicked an empty can that was in her driveway?

my father was a contemporary of rick mayall at KSW, and cis, south hampstead??!! wow. i know (knew) quite a few girls from there, on the whole pretty 'rah' and up themselves. about 12 in every year wound up in my school, although even before they came most of the 'cool camden kids' had met them already via a succession of pathetic on-off teen fumblings.

my mate Nicholas went to the same school as you, Madchen. I have actually told you that before, but as it was the first time we ever met (sinister picnic, Greenwich, May 2000) I can't imagine that you'd remember. I think the conversation was on the lines of

M: where are you from?
L: Woking
M: my mate was from Woking and went to the same school as the Jam!
L: so did I

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 16 February 2007 13:11 (seventeen years ago) link

Madchen, I am flattered that you think that there is such a thing as "our" age. I was born in 1970, remember? No, I met Nicholas when he was doing his phD at Bristol Uni when I was an undergrad, so I guess that means he'll be forty or so now. I really need to meet up with him soon as my gf is Polish as is his wife and I have already shared some of the things that Nicholas and Magdalena told me about the Polish language with Asia (largely to check whether Nicholas was bullshitting). Like for example: the Polish word for violin is a singular plural (like scissors or trousers) which translates as "the screechings", the word for Italian is v similar to the word for hairy and the word for German literally means "they can't speak".

Nicholas's surname is Bamber, btw.

:-D

Actually, Cis has a good point re: the wealthier demographic of North London. There was always this intangible difference, or should I say distance between they and I, which dissolved when I engaged them in individual conversation, but which returned when they massed together in their Hampstead packs and went off to a sleepover in some sixty-acre mansion. Fortunately for me, I had a posh enough voice to get by when wearing the same school uniform as the rest of 'em. Otherwise, I suspect I'd have been ostracised a little more. Westminster pupils (go 2 wiki if ye wants) generally came from 2 areas: Camden and Kensington/Chelsea. I alone flew the flag for Lewisham, and the distance often became a little irritating.

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 16 February 2007 13:21 (seventeen years ago) link

Madchen (Madchen), Friday, 16 February 2007 13:27 (seventeen years ago) link

hahahaha louis the only girls who went from sh to w/minster for sixth form were the screamingly posh ones! the normal ones stayed or went to c4mden school for girls. i think the sense you have is a little skewed by being based on the kind of girls who would want to hang out with w/minster pupils, social contact with public school boys was never very high on the agenda among my mates (we were too busy going to rachel stamp and pitchshifter gigs, it's not like we were particularly cool or anything).
